The dark ages.

Nothing ages more rapidly or cruelly than the modern video game. Today’s Battlefield 3 is tomorrow’s Wolfenstein 3D: in ten years time, people will laugh that BF3 was the height of graphical prowess before being jacked back into the Matrix and enjoying multiple eyegasms. It is our job to chronicle these cultural relics for future generations, but that doesn’t mean they are worth playing in ten years time- or even today, as Enclave: Shadows of Twilight proves.
